Colorescience Tint Du Soleil – Review
Sun exposure can prematurely create wrinkles and age our skin beyond our years. So we can never have too much sun protection! I personally love Colorescience’s Tint Du Soleil whipped mineral foundation that contains broad spectrum SPF 30. The brand’s website states that this foundation contains collagen building peptides and multi-vitamins that help to improve your skin with time. The mineral SPF contained in this product is zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as opposed to the SPF chemical oxybenzone which is harmful to the planet’s coral reefs.
I have combination skin (oily in some parts and dry in others). For me, this product works really well even in the hottest of climates. It instantly evens my skin tone and I love how light it feels on my skin. I’ve worn it to the beach and while swimming and it doesn’t easily wash off. However, Colorescience indicates it’s only water resistant for i40 minutes so you may need to reapply! The only issue that I’ve encountered while using this product is that it will pill if I apply moisturizer to my face beforehand. I don’t find this overly problematic though as this product also contains ceramides to help provide hydration throughout the day.
Tint Du Soleil comes in 4 different shades Light, Medium, Tan, and Deep. It’s typically priced at about $60.00 which is on the higher end for foundation, but I have yet to regret my purchase.
